With the landscape of South Mumbai giving the opportunity, Rajendra R. Chaturvedi, a young civil engineer entrepreneur with hope in his eyes, fire in his belly and liquid steel running in his veins set about championing the cause of well thought through resettlement and rehabilitation schemes. And champion he did, undertaking multiple initiatives. Adopting the cluster approach he created masterpieces and the Shreepati Group came into being.
1987 – 1992 saw Rajendra Chaturvedi complete the construction and redevelopment of the Raghavji building through the In-house construction and management of the Shreepati Group.
In 1994 he envisioned the construction of a 45 storey building. This concept was never thought before anywhere in India. Through the next few years Mr. Chaturvedi went through several trials and tribulations to complete the tallest residential building in India (at that time). Shreepati Arcade, at 158 meters dwarfed any residential building around and set the benchmark for all the forthcoming Shreepati Properties, forever associating them with ‘Tallest, Largest and Biggest'.
The year 2000 brought in the ‘Pimpalwadi’ project. With the Shreepati Group forming the very first joint venture of a public- private partnership. That set off the Pimpalwadi project going in April 2003.
Having aligned its core business vision with the larger canvas of infrastructure development Shreepati Group has etched for itself a pivotal role in Mumbai's changing Real Estate scenario. A role that is in keeping with the government's vision for the future. A role that will see it change the Mumbai skyline forever, and that is just the beginning of Shreepati Global.
